Can't see any need for another Reinhart who underperforms his draft pedigree. Yamamoto is well liked here, even if it's tempting to dump Kassian (mostly his contract) and recoup some draft capital.

Oilers would pass.

The Canes currently have no need for Hall. With Paquette, their forwards are set. No way they’d pay that much for an underperforming Hall.

IMO, they could use a vet 3rd pair D or goalie upgrade come the deadline. I’d be surprised if they go after big name forwards, again, no need for one.

In December 2 Sabres fans commented on a trade and then proceeded to claim the team would make the playoffs.

My reply was something along the lines of Sabres being in a tough division and playoffs would not be realistic. I was summarily dismissed.
