I'm not touching that as Detroit. Skinner's contract would significantly lower our cap space for years.

Mittelstadt isnt very good at the pro level, so a fringe prospect right now and a 2nd to take on that albatross of a contract.
That doesnt do it for the Redwings, not even close to temping. 6 years left for skinner who has full NMC throughout....no one is goign to touch that contract without some significant assets attached

With a NMC he can decide if he wants to be exposed in the expansion draft, which eats up a spot for a young player, no thanks.
Also that contract is bad.
