If that 2022 pick is unprotected, Shane Wright for Nylander is a deal I'm taking all day long

nope, no use for Dzingle, especially with Nylander gone and that'd have to be a 2021 first to get the convo started

could easily be bottom 5, which puts you into Wright/Savoie territory. Next year should be an insane draft, and Sens could easily have a top 5 pick which might be worth moving Nylander for. And I'm not one of the rejects who says to trade willy after every loss

i doubt it. it'll be closer to 10 than 4. And predicting a draft 2 years out is incredibly hard, and is made even harder by all this covid stuff. The extra pieces here arnt worth that gamble. 2 third liners and an ok prospect is not enticing

None of the other teams make these trades. Would love to add Nylander but don't think we could get it done.

yeah I agree with the other stuff but I think OTT will still be bad next year.

pain.

I understand such pain being a Leafs fan. Just when they give you hope they do, you know, that thing they did on Tuesday

Plus if I were an OTT fan I would be hoping that they are trash in '22. Wright would complete this team.

I think they need to in order to cover up a loss that, if they string a couple of losses with it, could turn this team to an even bigger joke than it currently is. Even with that collapse though I don't think this is the same choke of a Leafs team as previous years.

they look good but i think that last sens loss has kind of planted the seed of doubt that this team is a true powerhouse compared to just the best team in the division ya know, i think theyll want to come out with something to prove

Rangers are stacked on RHD. Don't need to take an overpaid RHD (who'd be their 4th best RHD next season), let alone trading a 1st for him. TDA is a cheap buyout, they're not gonna pay to get rid of him.
