I just can't trust anything you say ever again. Nothing in this package will ever be as good as Rielly. Petry is old with a bad contract, Mete wouldn't make TO and two mid 1st are not getting you a top defenceman.

I think it's an overpay, but I don't think it's worth it to the leafs.
It doesn't help them win games now.

You mean the proposed trade? A guy signed to his biggest contract in his career at that starts when he is 33, a guy who wouldn't make the Leafs and two mid 1sts for Rielly? The best player in the trade by far who is only 26. And Matthews for Weal is a comparable response? You're as big a clown as the guy who made this.

This is an overpay for sure. Leafs would be in the market for a 3c or lw if anything. Our roster is pretty full at this point. Not really any glaring needs.
