Couple things:
I think OVI stays with the caps or retires as a cap
And Gusev would have to be a third liner on the Avalanche, and therefor he would have to take a pay cut, which is something I don’t think he would want to do.

Will the Leafs be able to afford Binnington? I like the fit, but they’re tight for cash. Also Ovi will stay in Washington.

Man I’d die to see dougie become a jet. Unlikely it happens though. Only if he’d take like 7x9.25 which is unlikely.

I mean you basically pay binnington what Freddy was making as binnington hasn’t been amazing. He’s been average for his standard.

Yeah I think he would stay with the caps but I want him on the Oilers with McDavid.
I want Gusev to win a Cup and he would replace Saad (if Saad doesn't stay)

They sign Binnington instead of Anderson. I think Ovi will stay too but I would love him in Edmonton

Maybe 7x8.5 could be fair

I’m pretty sure he’d be staying in Carolina if he was getting that. I get there’s a flat cap, but he’ll get over 8.5.

They also have to resign Svech and cap might be tight in Carolina. Maybe the same thing that happened to Pietro would happen to Hamilton

I could see that happening. It all depends on how invested Carolina is on resigning him. Cause they could try and trade Gardner, or skjei to free up some cap but that would be hard with the contracts they have. Hey, I’d be so happy if he made it to FA and Jets could get him on the Pietro deal.
