I think it’s established that Braden Holtby is going to be the guy that gets taken by Seattle in the expansion draft.

I'd move on from Edler if he wants that much. I'd also look at adding a legit top 6 forward instead of spending money on Leivo and the bottom 6. Virtanen is also probably gone by this point

Does Rafferty really hold that much trade value? He will be 26 in a couple months and has played 2 NHL games. Add a first, nobody is taking Louis.

When I had the Kraken taking someone else, everyone said it would be Holtby. When I had them taking Holtby, everyone said there's no way they would take an overpaid goalie.

His improvement has been fun to watch, you can tell he's getting more comfortable. His footspeed can still cause some scares but he hasn't been embarrassed yet. He made a really nice play last night to beat Dube to a loose puck using angling and body position.

Our 3rd line is our biggest weakness up front in my mind. We need a two-way center there that can be relied on to not get caved in consistently. Right now we throw out the Lotto line and Horvat's line for two good shifts, and nobody else can follow up.

I'm pretty torn on Virtanen. I wouldn't be against moving him or keeping him.

Defnitely an option, I just hate having dead cap space.

Rafferty had some decent value last year. Apparently there were GMs interested in him at the deadline when he was tearing up the AHL. I would say his value gone down a decent amount since then.

I used the Staal trade as a base which was just a 2nd and added in a prospect since Staal > Eriksson. Freidman was talking about how some teams were struggling financially and how one owner told his GM to only spend 65M against the cap. I don't know what teams they are specifically, but there are some easy guesses out there. Eriksson's salary is lower than his cap hit (especially after his bonus is paid) and is only one year, so I think a budget team would be willing to take him.
