That Eichel trade would hurt to make but it's fair value... I'd do it. Would stay far away from Stepan though lol.

Sabres need an established good player in an Eichel trade. Kakko hasn't really shown that he's going to be good. Chytil is still unproven too.

...and Eichel becomes your 2C? Zib is good, but he's not Eichel.

I have always said Eichel to the Rangers makes no sense from a Sabres perspective.

This is not the point. For example Chytil - what is his potential and projection at the moment? Will he be at least a solid second line player with 50+ points? Will he be the center or is he better on the wing? Too many questions.

Not quite. Eichel is a significant step up from Zib (and most 1Cs in the league).

Sorry, you're right. I Forgot I put Panarin with Eichel, if they were separated, it'd be 1A and 1B line

More "Kakko is a bust" hate... as I've said in many similar threads this week, he literally just turned 20 and has been playing his best hockey and turning things around in the last couple weeks.

What more needs to be added? Three top prospects/young players, a first, a second, and a B-level goalie prospect.

Rangers don't have enough. I wasn't calling Kakko a bust he has just been very underwhelming which is fair to say.

He was proving to be a good center this season so id say 2nd line center
