MTL is NOT giving Poehling for a D they have 0 need for, they have Chariot and Edmunson already they don't need another low production D

Mccabe is a really good top 4 defenseman not useless. however Byron is useless.

Byron is overpay, yes, but if he was making 2.5M he would be worth a mid round pick easily
Edmundson Chiarot Romanov are all better than McCabe
Kulak McCabe are more equal
We just dont need him, I'm not saying he is bad

Only way Skinner gets moved is if NHL and NHLPA agree to a compliance buy-out next off-season (they shouldn't, but probably will).

Why would Edmonton trade broberg and a 1st for a guy on a 1 year deal when they can take a run at him in free agency without giving up assets

I hate Poehling, and I still wouldn’t do this. We don’t need/want McCabe and we aren’t trading Byron.
