Would rather not trade Bear for a LD, he and Bouchard as the Oilers' top 2 RD going forward provide very complementary skills. While the Oil have a logjam of RD this season, Barrie and Larsson are both UFA next season and I wouldn't expect more than one of them to be back. So, longterm, RD in EDM is less deep than the left side to be honest. On the left side, especially if Klef comes back, the Oil are actually deeper longterm with Lagesson, Jones, Broberg and Samorukov pushing for full time spots, and Russell as 7D still.
