Well it’s 82 million to spend over the season. If a team uses 40M in the first half, then then they have 42 million to spend in the second. That gives them 2M in full contracts to add to their cap vs before the half mark. It’s actually more than half though, since the tdl is after half the season. So they have about 4M to add to cap. Since only half a contract goes against the cap for half a season
