Isles would probably do that, Trotz clearly is not going to play Bellows anymore.

Also the Islanders AHL coach is Tage’s Father.

Avs would probably accept that if they also have a separate trade lined up for a 3C.

I like Montour and think his transition game could work in Colorado. Swapping Compher for him also offers cap flexibility moving forward too.

Acquiring Montour could allow Timmins to be used in a trade for a 3C or even 2C, though I'd prefer to just have a stacked and deep D group.

Brent is got to be on the hot seat to be fired soon. He has not developed many prospects well, and was a hold over from before LL go to the Island.

Virtanen can't even play in VAN top 6 and your slotting him on the second line?

Different line up, any one trading for him is looking at his potential and rolling the dice, if you dont believe he has a chance theirs no need to give up assests for a depth player. We all thought Hall and Eichel would gel immediately and that didnt happen. Cant really predicted what an new roster and system would do to a player

Fair enough. Virtanen just doesn't play that physical brand of hockey anymore, just floats around waiting for a pass.

I totally agree! I think it is crazy he is still with the team. Today they lost 1-0 but gave up close to 40 shots!! That is not close to Islanders hockey and he should be let go.

Selling low on Domi isn't exactly the best idea, and meanwhile Reinhart is going to have trouble finding playing time behind Atkinson and Bjorkstrand, and Sheahan is pretty much useless for us. I don't think this works for the Jackets.
