To which deal? To the Leafs maybe, but imagine he would have no problem to the Jackets.

Both. Does he want to give up his team, his home for his entire career (10+ years), for a team that has probably the same chance of winning the Cup as the Wild?

The Tor trade wouldn't happen. Kadri = Dumba in value (sure). Koivu > Kadri: he's better defensively, better at FO%. Kadri has the better contract, and maybe more offensive upside. Kadris a downgrade in what the Wild are looking for in that 2C position: 2-way center that takes the hard draws, PK's, and gets tasked with stopping the opposing team's top-line.

Without the Tor trade the CBJ trade doesn't happen. CBJ and the Wild don't make good trading partners, they are similar teams in terms of needs.

lol kadri not a two way centre? Not taking hard draws? Not playing against opposing teams best players?

Have you not watched the leafs play? He played against Mcdavid and shut him down the first game and the next game he limited him.

"Limited" him to 2 points.

Kadri is an OK 2 way C. He has not established himself enough as a "shut down guy". The media has overplayed this based on a week stretch.

I also challenge you to look at his faceoff numbers. They are borderline disgusting.

I like Kadri as a 2/3C playing 15min/game. He can play vs. top lines in spurts but I'm not sure we should be excited about him "shutting down" McDavid when he basically obstructed him the entire game. That will not work long-term as calls will start coming. He needs to learn better positioning in order to continue to develop his all around game.

Have you ever watched Koivu play? He's better than Kadri. McDavidx2, Crosbyx2, Matthewsx2 have a combined 0 points even strength and 2 combined PP goals.

Koivu/Kadari
FO%: 55.1%/46.7%
ToI: 20:00/15:58
Points: 15/18
TGF: 27/26
TGA: 18/21 -8 of Koivu's GA were on the PK, Kadari doesn't PK, so it would be more like 10/21 split even strength GA.
CF%rel: 1.1/0.0
FF%rel: 1.8/-0.9
DZS%: 63.8/61.9

No I understand Kiovu is better, I never said he wasn't. But don't say that Kadri doesn't go up against the top opposing players because he does and not a two-way C because he's turned into that player now. It's the Babcock effect.
