Only way rangers can take the skinner contract too

Description
Ada trade is really any team.. 3rd+4th plus third for retaining half.

Buffalo trade could turn into a massive win if skinner regains his form, but the extra salary we gain is definitely going to impact our future to retain our prospects. Obviously relies on both kreider and skinner waiving nmcs. Possibly a throw in of Lundkvist Jones or Robertson. The skinner contract is just so bad (much worse than kreider). All under the assumptions rangers have a top five pick this year.

You sent the draft picks the wrong way in the ADA trade.

If an Eichel trade happens, it will be after the season.

So Then Instead of paying someone to take Deangelo, just buy him out. Because he’s under 26, he’s super cheap to buy out and it would save like 2 million in space

How to set your organization back 10 years: Trade your franchise player attached to a bad contract, which results in a poor return.

Definitely picked the wrong team to trade ADA to. Julian Brisebios was the then Syracuse Crunch GM who suspended ADA when he was with the lightning organization. One place you can guarantee he's not going.

If you read the description I wrote any team. He’s with the gamble for two thirds and a fourth.

Lol you are funny.. it won’t cost the rangers anything but maybe retention. They’ll get mid draft picks for him, they got a 2nd for Lias Andersson..

This doesn’t set them back 10. Skinner is a shell of a player he was in his first season in Buffalo, kreider is really a fill in for that roster spot at lesser cap and slightly better player at the moment. Zibanejad isn’t as good as eichel no, but he’s in the upper echelon of centers (although Covid is still kicking his ass this year). Plus you get another top end pick as the rangers are a bottom 5 team as well. While it isn’t an ideal return, getting out of the term/amt of skinners contract is addition by subtraction, you get two top six wingers, and a 1c plus a high first rounder. The only reason the return is this is because of skinner, as it’s the only way rangers can afford it. If it’s just eichel, the return would be much different

See what the problem is. Zibanejad is after next season UFA and he probably won't sign an extension to Buffalo. Kreider and Buchnevich are certainly decent players, but they are unlikely to help us reach the playoffs when we are left without the top 6 centers. Skinner just lowers Eichel's value in the deal, we'll just keep Skinner and buyout in 2-3 years if he doesn't work.

Andersson didn't get punched in the face by a teammate for being an a-hole. Sean Avery is a better comparison than Lias Andersson.

Zibanejad at the tdl will also net you at least another first rounder and top prospect if Buffalo can’t resign him— but I get your point. No eichel trade is going to be good for Buffalo unless they hit home runs with draft picks. I think the whole return for Buffalo will be more underwhelming than ppl expect. Eichel can just wait until his NMC kicks in and really limit their options.

No he really is not. He's a freaking headcase. He's a prime example of addition by subtraction.

If we are trading Eichel it should be for players under 23 years old, I think we could get a very good futures package with choices and prospects and build around that. Yes, after next season Eichel will have an NMC, so we either improve the results (but for Buffalo it just seems impossible) or we should trade him before his NMC.
