It's a small sample size, but toews underlying numbers were a lot better on the isles, especially offensively. it seems like he's taking more of a stay at home role with makar.

I sh*t on leddy all offseason but somehow he has the best defensive metrics on the isles and has been a top 10 PP QB. I don't think it'll last but he's been much better than I expected.

Yeah, it still surfaces from time to time . . . mainly when somebody who doesn't know the Avalanche predicts that Toews will be Seattle's selection from Colorado in the expansion draft.

Yeah that pairing would be an elite two way pairing. Pelech is only 26, still has another 3-4 years as a top pairing caliber D, but yeah we don't have any LHD prospects that can be #1 D. but I think Robin Salo could surprise and be a guy that can play with pulock or dobson on the top pairing. He is very good.

Recently theres been a lot of hype about salo on cf but i dont know much about him. Would be nice if we could trade for a 1st and luck out and get luke hughes. (Not going to predict 1 OA bc thats unrealistic lmfao)

There’s a lot of hype because he’s leading all U23 Dmen in points in the 3rd best league in the world while facing top competition. Salo is pretty much a slower version of toews, not that Salo is slow but toews is obviously an elite skater
