Nylander has plateaued while the others continually raise their game

Description
Now before all of the Nylander fan boiz come out of the wood work to chew me on this, I just want to point out Matthews and Marner continually progress towards total package players while Nylander has always been the same with fluctuating results. I'm not saying I don't like Nylander, I'm not even saying he's overpaid. What I am saying is his current cap hit could be serve the team better split up for better role players.

So I feel like it's a pretty fair deal, Nylander has twice the term of Domi who I don't think will stay long term and could benefit from playing for a coach like torts. Although I don't believe the deal would happen due too the lack of depth at the center position for Columbus.

You realize Domi is playing 4RW?

I guess "Nylander fan boiz" is code for anyone with a minute amount of hockey knowledge.

Your type has always said "Nylander is one dimensional!". He vastly improves his defensive game and is far better in a two way sense and still "he's one dimensional!"

Nylander haters just don't like him and it won't matter what he does. I said earlier today, he could score 11 points in a game and you guys would say "his hair was too nice and he didn't fight anyone, he doesn't try hard!"

It's just stupid.

If you want to trade him you can atleast trade him for something worthwhile. This trade is terrible.

Well if Nylander has plateaued and that's the reason for trading him, I expect to posts for the trades of Muzzin, Brodie, Anderson, Campbell, Simmons, Spezza, and Boyd. Hasn't Savard and Domi peaked?

People think he's better than he is because he gets lumped in with mathews Tavares and marner but hes a rung bellow those guys for sure. He can play but yeah you won't die if you move him for a different piece. This deal isn't it though.

No thank you. Nylander may look lazy out there but 31 goals in 69 games and leading the league in goals from the dirty areas last year, not giving up on that yet. There certainly seems to be something missing from his game but if you are going to trade him, it better be significantly better than Domi, and I love Domi. Also has to be in offseason.
Savard was someone the Leafs looked at prior to landing Brodie. Now they have 2 solid RHD and have no need of Savard. Holl has stepped up and I have barely noticed Brodie which is good. No mistakes.
