I think you have a proposal for every 3C in the league and now are proposing a first plus a Compher for a non-center rental?

I've been on the trade Compher train for a couple years, but he's not that much of a downgrade from Granlund to warrant including a 1st.

A 1st might be a bit steep. But keep in mind that a huge part of the value here is the cap flexibility that comes with moving Compher. If Granlund does well in Colodo there's also the possibility of resigning him on a reasonably cheap deal.

Now that I've gotten your attention, what would the real price be? lol

Granlund (50% retained) for Compher + _______?

What would it take for Nashville to accept that trade? Swapping a 1st for a 4th does feel a bit steep. Avs don't have a 2nd rounder which would otherwise have been ideal. Would a prospect like Beaucage be enough on his own?

I'd do that trade. I think Nashville would probably want a pick that's a bit more current though rather than one 3 drafts away. Especially considering that Poile is on the hotseat and will need something to show for himself this year.
