Kinda messes up the Leaf future with those cheap ELC players expecting to make the team shortly, Sandin, Hallender and the two picks.
Just looking at it this year. Obviously Eichel is an improvement over Nylander but Staal is a downgrade to Kerfoot, So yea the Leafs are better than year, then they the Covid quarantine, and the upgrade isn't worth throwing away all those inexpensive futures.
