3 solid prospects/nhl players for Eichel.
The value is nothing to turn your head from but if I’m giving up a star #1 centre I need a foundational piece. Don’t think you get one here

You need 2 first and way more than this.....Eichel is a Number 1 Center and is still very young. If im Buffalo its 2 firsts and Brady tkackuk and still more....cheers.

I’m a big fan of Norris , I think he’s on the same projection as Nick Suzuki although 1 year earlier. Brannstrom has looked pretty good and a guy like Guenther or Johnson have top line potential.

Also usually a top 5 pick is a foundation piece

How do you project Norris, and who does he look like in terms of playstyle from the current top 6 centers in the league? I think he's probably a solid prospect, but too few samples so far.

I think he’ll be a low end 1C or really good 2C. Kyle Turris when he played for the Sens.

Didn’t realize people thought that highly of Norris, I thought good 2c. Also this draft is week. An arguable #1 pick beniers is thought to be a 2c

I think this is fair, Norris and Brannstrom are solid prospects and have tons of potential and a Top 5 pick

Yeah but I think Beniers is not as good as Johnson. Also Guenther hasn’t played at all yet, he was a PPG in the WHL at 16/17 years old. Power, Clarke both look like #1D

I like those kids I just don’t see a ppg nhl winger(Which to me is a foundational winger) or number 1c . You could easily argue that power is a #1 d the others probably top pair. As I said above the return is nothing to turn your head from but I’m just not sure for Eichel. To many who knows

I kind of agree tho. But if I’m Buffalo I’d take this offer any day over Monahan ++

Do you believe a top 5 pick in this years draft is a foundation piece? I do not.

Stutzle or tkachuk and add quite a bit, or hang up the phone in shame

No franchise player but I believe there’s at least 5-6 guys that are 1st liners or 1st pair.

Quite a bit for stutzle? Don’t know about that. Also that defeats the purpose for ottawa

Who’s going to offer more? I just don’t see it. A team like Vegas would offer Glass or Krebs + Tuch + 1st quite possibly but is that really that much better than this? I don’t think it’s better

That defeats the purpose for a lot of teams. LA won’t offer Byfield. And Teams won’t offer their top star young player

No it’s not. The top 5 pick really helps. I can’t think off the top of my head for a better offer, but for a star #1c someone might pull something major out of their... hat

I didn’t offer Norris and scraps. You’re getting Brannstrom and a top 5 pick

Adams will probably have to ask for Tkachuk+ or Stutzle+ and at the same time look at the proposals of other teams. I'm not saying the value is bad, but this draft is so weird.

This draft reminds me of 2017. It also sucks cuz a lot of prospects haven’t played yet

Not blow up but pull a good player with room to grow and a high end prospect. Again it’ll be tough to beat this which is why now would be a great time for Ottawa to pull the trigger. That guy make Ottawa scary. Fill out the roster a bit and watch out
