You’d have to think of they’re trading Nuge it’s for futures. If it’s to be competitive he’s worth more to the Oilers at 6 million than any other team. Tough spot because you don’t want to lose him for nothing but there is a competitive team in Edmonton that needs him

It makes no sense to trade him right now. He is a rental so teams won't give much up for him. He is more valuable to keep and resign than to trade.
