Buffalo decline. We don't need Dumba, and Talbot would not be of big value to Buffalo in a deal for Eichel.

Minnesota definitely doesnt have anything to offer Buffalo. Dumba isnt close to Eichels value as well, even if Buffalo needed a dman. The rest of that filler is short by miles

You must be high as a kite right now if you think Colorado (or anyone else for that matter) would pay a 1st for Hartman.

The only reason why Goodrow got a 1st was because of his really low caphit for 2 playoff runs.

Their best prospect is someone Buffalo passed on. Kaprizov would be a start but they have no center to fill in the gap. aside from Foligno, i cant think of anything else id really want. Kahkonen and Boldy, the value is still short

Rossi, Boldy, Fiala, Kaprizov would be great pieces in a return

Would probably add on that BUF passed on Rossi due to the fact that they wanted a sniper for Eichel, which is why they took Quinn.

If they deal Eichel, a new need for center arises, making Rossi a very viable option for them.

It depends on what we are looking for, they have a first round pick, even two this year, definitely starts with Kaprizov+. I know Kaprizov's game and potential very well, he will be a stallion in the NHL. If we don't want Rossi we can look at Boldy, he seems to have 1LW potential and is quite physical.

Problem of the center, how to solve this? Draft / UFA / Trades / Cozens

Cozens will be a few years till he could carry as a top line center, they need a stop gap or else they'll just end up like Minnesota

You're are not getting a Kaprizov type player from anyone in the league.

We will not put Cozens 1C right away, I'm talking about the future. We will find a solution for 1-2 seasons while our other prospects develop.

We can get for the elite young 1C who has gained 82 points in the last two seasons and walked at a pace of 95 points. Your fans have already suggested Kaprizov+ for Eichel on another site, and maybe on this one too.

I hope Cozens can be a #1 guy, and in all likelihood Eichel will still be there in the number 1 spot so Cozens doesnt need top be a top line guy but a really good 2C

Why is Greenway being exposed if you have already traded Dumba?

Your returns are high on all the rentals.

The BUF trade really isn't interesting for BUF.

I like his competition and defensive play, I'm not even sure Staal is better than Cozens in the center right now, but we probably shouldn't rush into that.

You're going to be extremely disappointed in the return if you think you're getting an asset like Kaprizov+++. Teams don't trade those players unless they want out. Eichel wants out, Kaprizov doesn't. That's the difference.

This is a very controversial statement and Eichel does not want to leave for now, and if he wants to leave a huge queue of teams with great offers for him. PLD returned to Laine + Rosloviс, Eichel is much better than PLD. It depends whether Guerin wants to get an elite young 1C or he will wait until Rossi can be like that, but without Kaprizov+ there is no deal.

No he doesnt. Buffalo also doesnt have to trade him. They certainly dont have to sell low to appease anybody

PLD and Laine were both disgruntled players that want out, and Laine is likely to leave Columbus as soon as they can. It's not the same.

I've already accepted the fact that the Wild aren't going to end up with Eichel. It's time you realize that no team is going to trade their Kaprizov type players for Eichel. If that's your managements requirement, he's going to be disgruntled for 5 years and then run away in free agency.

Either way, I'm not bothered because none of my players want out.

Nope, I never once said Buffalo has to trade him, and I didn't say they have to sell low. I said you're not going to get players like Kaprizov. Try again.
