PLD and Laine were both disgruntled players that want out, and Laine is likely to leave Columbus as soon as they can. It's not the same.

I've already accepted the fact that the Wild aren't going to end up with Eichel. It's time you realize that no team is going to trade their Kaprizov type players for Eichel. If that's your managements requirement, he's going to be disgruntled for 5 years and then run away in free agency.

Either way, I'm not bothered because none of my players want out.

Ur right here they just think they’ll get the world for him, it’ll be a good package for sure but not the laf or kaprizov type players they says require the trade to go thru

I’m a realist ... ( and just for the record I said if it came down to it I’d put kakko in the deal)

Minnesota fans aren't GM's. GM's don't trade players like Kaprizov unless they're forced to. Kaprizov is in his rookie season, he's the Wild's best player by far. He's not available. The idea is to find a center to play with Kaprizov, not turn the Wild into Buffalo, who have Eichel and....nothing else.

So you say that Eichel will not get such a player as Kaprizov, but I say that he will get, not necessarily Kaprizov, but in terms of the level of a player from the other team. If you do not want to change Kaprizov+ to Eichel, this is fair, but that does not mean that he will not return such a return from another team. I'm talking about value. Maybe it will be an elite prospect+, maybe a very good player + prospect, who knows, this is simply unknown and cannot be verified in any way. Because centers like Eichel are very rarely traded.

This is a very controversial statement and Eichel does not want to leave for now, and if he wants to leave a huge queue of teams with great offers for him. PLD returned to Laine + Rosloviс, Eichel is much better than PLD. It depends whether Guerin wants to get an elite young 1C or he will wait until Rossi can be like that, but without Kaprizov+ there is no deal.

Here is the problem that everyone doesn't seem to grasp is that sure Eichel is a GREAT GREAT player. However, I think Sabres fans are going to need to temper their expectations because of the $10 M cap hit that he carries for the next 6 years. To me that almost downgrades him in a sense. When I see people proposing trades like respective teams #1and#2 prospects plus a couple of firsts my first thought is what is Buffalo eating as far as cap goes for that type of player....Just some thoughts
