The value may be fair (I truly don’t know) but even if the Jets are out of the playoffs, I just can’t see them trading Lowry. They want him there long term.

could easily end up being TOR - EDM - MTL - CGY but yes I agree they are in playoff contention for sure

IMO, the Flames and Oilers won't keep up to Jets, Leafs and Habs. It's the Flames and Oilers who will be fighting for 4th place. We'll see. Just 10 weeks to the playoffs.

So really the Jets give up Lowry to gain a late 4th and move up about 15 spots from their mid 3rd round to a late 2nd? No thanks. Lowry has more value than that!

Exactly what I was thinking hah. The trade looks better than it actually is, Jets would be better off just moving him 50% retained to like Boston or another EC team for like a 2nd or 3rd and a rd prospect.
