Leafs dont have a place for him. He'd be behind Muzzin and Rielly and simply not worth the cost for what would be a 3rd pairing dman.

You are aiming high across the board for a rental player. Any sort of package of current players + a pick is off the table even at first glance. The most I'd give you would be a 2nd and thats before I go looking into the 'one of the best defensive defensemen this season' claim.

canucks decline were looking for a true top 4 d man to take pressure off Hughes in my opinion.
