That doesn't move the needle for Eichel and the Devils aren't at a point where an Eichel trade would make sense as there would probably be the same issues that he has with Buffalo.

This isn't even remotely close to a fair trade, Buffalo would probably ask for Hughes, a first, a second, and a B level prospect but I'm not sure if NJ would be willing to give that up as Hughes has immense potential and the Devils would want to keep their first rounder.
