I'd be thrilled if the hawks get anything for De Haan, he's been bad all season.

Only guy out longterm looks to be Koekkoek, who was about the 7th-8th best dman anyway. Bear and Lagesson should be back on the next few games, so trading for a D man who undergoes a 2 week isolation wait from an American team would make little sense. If another dman goes down in the next game or two, a trade would be more likely for a Canadian division dman, like Mete or Kulak I'd think, who could step in right away for the crucial gap before Lagesson and Bear are back.

Agreed, althouth they could get SOMETHING for him, just not much at all. Maybe a 5th or a 6th.

At this point, most of the kids on the Hawks are playing pretty well. De Haan might be expendable, but they also might expose him to meet expansion requirements.

your right about the kids too they are playing very well and I do find it critical to play them.

AFAIK Lagesson & Bear are going to be ready this week, so that scenario isn't likely to happen. And Lennstrom is currently in quarantine, he'd be the next replacement.

Jones can handle till Lagesson or lennstrom are around at the very least.

He just makes more mistakes than a veteran should be making. At $4M+ a year, I just don't think he's worth the money.
