Don’t think he’s for sale. Not that it matters since this agm is over the cap.

Sharks trade is a pretty decent offer, but if we're trading Hertl, getting a bonafide center like Amirov would be ideal. That and/or someone like Niemela would also be useful to the Sharks. Certainly wouldn't complain about Robertson though.

Oh yeah also the salary cap exists, you should try to not go over that lol

I think Forsberg's a better player than Hertl, but the gap between them is pretty small. The package going to SJ is more than twice as good as the one being offered to NSH though.

Ehhhhh Sharks with Bordeleau Sasha and Robbins are pretty content at C, honestly LW is the team's biggest need. If the Sharks trade Hertl tho, it's full on rebuild time so no need for Kerfoot, add another pick or a RD prospect Niemela being the one I would want.

Yeah don't pay attention to what I said before I was being a massive doofus, Amirov isn't a center. I know Bordeleau Robins and Sasha are technically listed as C's but I think realistically, Bordeleau is the only only one who is very likely to make the NHL in the future at that position. Robins I don't think will pan out to be a center and while Sasha is more naturally a C, I could see being moved to RW at some point too (if he can become an NHL contributor)

Either way, my train of thought is that we'd need to bolster up the high-end center depth as much as possible still. I definitely think our LW prospect pool is weak at this point, but I just think center is a much more important position to lock up with talent holistically. But since I was wrong, about Amirov, maybe I just inadvertently proved your point for you? Lol
