i think if nashville trades him it would be for a good prospec like rathbone or someone else and a fairly decent pick or 2. 3c's arent super hard to replace so im not sure gaudette is what they would want and as much as i think rafferty is an interesting prospect im not sure other teams would want to take a risk on 25 year old rookie defenseman whos legally blind in one eye. Not saying he cant be good but i think teams would rather see it in the NHL before they gave up a pretty valuable asset for him

Fabbro hasn’t been great to begin the season, but the analytics guys seem to love him on the defensive side. I’m not entirely convinced that’s he’d become Vancouver’s 1RD right away. So this is interesting. He’s still young and I think he’d be an interesting add.

Fabbro is a young already establish top 4 dman. Trading away a 4th liner an AHL dude and a 3rd won't do it... You'll need to make a pretty big package to make this work

There were guys that had one eye and yet they were good in the league. I just learned that Carl Soderberg is blind in one eye and he’s been decent. Frank McGee, was legendary with one eye. Rafferty was good last year in Utica, but I doubt he’ll get some playing time in Vancouver, so why not give him a shot elsewhere?

i mean if he can't beat out chatfield or jordie benn for the canucks 3RD spot im not sure nashville would want to move their 22 yr old top4 d-man for him. Not that he doesnt deserve a shot it just doesnt make sense for nashville
