Kings would consider this, but I don't think Buffalo goes for it.

Same as with your NyR proposal....
There’s no high end pieces in this deal,
so it gets beat- probably “easily” beat

I’d guess that the Rangers first round pick is near top 5. Kakko is a high end piece. So would that high first.

Turcotte is a 5th overall pick. Fresh off of WJC Gold Medal. Should be a high first round pick too.

It’s not gonna be top5 adding Eichel to the roster
And even though Kakko was picked 2nd OA, he hasn’t performed anywhere close to that draft position
Maybe the Sabres would consider him a high end piece right now, but i wouldn’t

I think this is a great base package, but the Sabres would need more draft picks and young prospects particularly guys like Kupari, Vilardi, Madden, and Akil Thomas to be included because if Eichel is being moved, the reset Button is being hit and the buffalo enters build for the future mode again.

More importantly, they send him out west and never have to see him

I think that’s a fairly reasonable eichel deal. Good job

Gonna take at least 1 ultra high end piece though
Someone will offer their best prospect/young player

What’s an ultra high end piece? Turcotte and a really high first round pick should qualify.

Byfield
Turcotte isn’t on that level
Neither is a 1st in this draft unless it’s at the top

Just my opinion though
