Why Kap in 3rd?
probably for the same reason he sat him last game.
The real question is what is the fascination with POJ still on the 1st pair......who also got his ass benched last game.
Kap took shifts off, Sully said nope, and demoted him from 1st line to 4th and then to bench.
POJ did the same, frankly was struggling and got his ass sat too. I think he'll be sent down the second Dumo or Riikola is back.
He's having problems, the knock was he is too small. That showed against the islanders, Guys like Nealson and Lee were parking in front of the net with him out there, and he couldn't do anything about it. He wasn't strong enough to move them out. The Islanders are the 2nd team to do that to him. I know everyone wanted to say....oh he's fine he gained weight. But if they watched what they started doing to him you'd realize he's still got the same issues. That's gonna be a hard knock for him to overcome because once guys know they can claim your space they will keep doing it. You got to play big, that's why this team is never trading Dumo, he can do that.
He had a good short stint but it only took like 8 games for teams to have some tape on him and realize they can just park down low and he can't stop it.
You can pretty much expect they will try to make that the norm on him going forward.
