what would it take for edmonton to take Petterssen? a 3rd round pick, Puljujarvi is not for sale whatsoever and bear isn't right now although next summer he might be.

The Defense has a bunch of injuries right now and they are heading for the playoffs so i really doubt they unload defense.

what do you mean they aren't making the playoffs, edm is top 3 in the north, mtl is overrated they are gonna drop hard

Edmonton isn't trading bear because they will want 9-10 Defense for the playoffs.

Just the sense I get watching him play on McDavid's line.

No they just don't have many skilled wingers, lots of bottom 6 but very few who can make plays and score. They are trying to mold Puljujarvi into a complimentary winger because they can't afford much more. Puljujarvi had 5 goals in the last 6 games he's somebody they will keep if that continues.

I think they would be better served to get another Skilled LW who can play with Mcdavid. It would be hard to replace what puljujarvi does at that cap hit.

I still don't think they would, I know I wouldn't. If they trade Bear it would be in a package for an high end starting goalie.

Imo they don't. Pettersson would just be a 3rd line dman while Bear is young and a 1st/2nd line dman with upside
