I know Flames fans will probably say this isn't enough, but ultimately this is one year of a player they could wait for in Free Agency, getting 2 high end prospects + a 1st and a 3rd is probably better than what they'd be looking at getting from another team on his M-NTC at the deadline

I haven't been able to watch a ton of Flyers hockey. Trying to admit that up front. From what I have seen. It's not really a lack of scoring. To me, it's actually easier than that. Get a couple of better PK guys that can take face offs. Kevin Hayes is your PK ice time leader for forwards AND 1st in PP time for centers. Allow him to focus more on PP and 5v5 situations. Seems like his $7M doesn't need to be spent on the PK unit.

I love the idea of trying to acquire Fabbro but I don't know that it's realistic. He's only 22 so even if the preds decide they need to rebuild he's young enough to see the other side and still be in his prime

My thought is they have Ellis and Josi who will be around for a very long time, and they have almost 0 true high end forward prospects. I think they'd be more willing to let go of Fabbro if they were getting back a young player in return

That's totally fair and I looked at some other ACGMs and it seems like preds fans are open to trading him which came as a shock to me. I thought most would see him as an untouchable
