Go look at any of the prior ACGM rosters with the same exact trade being shot down over and over again. Youre not getting Eichel for filler

Eichel is an elite player and either Kaako or Laf will have to go to get Eichel.

Kravtsov = B prospect
Lundkvist = Useless to Buffalo
Strome = Overrated
1sts = Useless to Buffalo

Hughes has more value than Kaako because Hughes has somewhat proven himself.
Smith, the Devils wouldn't be willing to trade because he is a young defensemen that is doing great in the NHL right now.
The two firsts don't mean much when Eichel is carrying the team.
And Strome = Merkley so idc about him that much.

From the Devils standpoint the trade wouldn't make since they have other places they would need to improve, center isn't the main priority.

From the Rangers standpoint, if they trade Kaako++ for Eichel, their top 6 is set for years. Zib, Buch, Kreider, Breadman, Eichel, Laf. If Im the Rangers, I would 100% trade Kaako++ for Eichel.

I just don’t see one of the best two parts of your rebuild which you’re still coming of being trade. Also Eichel only gets trade if he requests it and then at that point what leverage does Buffalo I would rather him go to la if they’re willing to give up byfield. Cause IMO laf kakko Fox Miller shesty are all none starts and maybe chytil

Elite centers like Eichel are hard to come by. If Eichel requests a trade (if he doesn't then he's dumb), NY would have to give up a young piece to get him. Buffalo would have no interest in B prospects or NHL players (Strome, Mika, Kreider, etc). Idk if you watch football but it would be the same situation Deshaun Watson is in. Texans wouldn't give up Watson for average NFL players and a couple of picks

I wouldn’t consider kravtsov and lundkvist b prospects. Lundkvist is the best dman at the age of 20 to play in the shl since hedman and kravtsov is good goal scoring wing he’s just had a rocky start with our ahl but every prospect does (some serious issues over there) but he’s looked good since going back to Russia to play

one of Laf or Kakko is in that pkg. like it or not. I think Buffalo would ask for Miller and something else and would probably be right in asking for it

I would consider Hughes and Kaako A prospects (when they were prospects). Lundkvist and Kravtsov are a tier below them. They both could turn out to be solid in the NHL, but Kaako has way more upside. Im not saying they are bad prospects, but to give up Eichel, Buffalo would rather get quality over quantity.

Yeah I did. You think your getting a #1 center signed for years for your magic beans, think again. Those players you all mentioned are good/ going to be. Eichel is great now! Hoping that they pan out is not something Buffalo is not going to do. You don't want to give them up we get it, but that's not how it works. Maybe one of those mentioned but one of your last two years top picks will be in that package.

Who said anything about us giving up Hughes and Smith, you asked for Eichel, not us! We're set at center! Hischier was just named Capt., so it would be Hughes. He's 19 and shown he can play, with all the other adds we would have to toss in, its not worth it. I'm realistic so I am not interested.
As mentioned other teams would outbid you then. I actually think he ends up in NY and a ton goes the other way.

Here's what is being offered elsewhere: TBL- Cirelli, Anthony, Foote, Cal, 2021 1st round pick (TBL), 2022 1st round pick (TBL) https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/2242047

If Eichel wants to leave then Buffalo is at a disadvantage. Also Tampa would never go for Eichel as they can’t afford him and if they could they be like Toronto paying 3-4 guy a ridiculous amount and can’t fill the rest of the lines with solid talent. Also if any of laf kakko Miller or Fox are apart of an Eichel trade 90% of rangers ranger will call for Groton to be fired. And with they way this year is going for the rangers I’d rather us just get beniers or Johnson in this next draft.

Proof that you know nothing is that you said Lundkvist is useless to Buffalo. Yeah, let’s take one of the best rhd prospects not in the nhl yet and just say he’s worth nothing. He is a b+/a- prospect. He will be just as good as Fox if not better (his skating is better).

The Sabres dont need D prospects, thats why hes useless. I donot know why this is hard for anyone to understand. Probably because d prospects are dime a dozen and their perfect filler because they are disposable. The Sabres are not trading their franchise center when the best piece in return is a RHD. That makes no sense. I dont care how high you are on him, it doesnt help Buffalo in the slightest. Also dont gaslight people, its pathetic
