This would make Detroit worse. In all honestly I wouldn't give up this much for McDavid one player can't carry a team anymore. The last player that carried his team to the playoffs was Hasek in the 1998-99 and he carried The Sabers all the way to the finals.

As much as I would like Eichel on the Wings, that just do not have the capital to make a trade like this. They are in a rebuild and this would hurt that and just make Eichel want to leave Detroit.

Wings pass, While Eichel would be great. We're not gutting the farm to do so. Landing Eichel while losing Bertuzzi and Zadina serves us no purpose it actually makes us much worse. if Eichel is miserable in Buffalo he'd be doubly miserable in Detroit.
