Fun but unrealistic

Description
I think RNH would be perfect for Montreal up the middle. Then if KK emerges as a top end centre RNH can move to the wing. I think that would be a fair contract for both sides.

Allen is a logical choice for the Kraken i dont think I need to explain that one.

I think Dermott would bring some mobility and speed on the back end and would be a good partner for Weber.

I think Goodrow would be great in a bottom 6 roll and that’s a fair contract for someone that would help the team win as a role player.

Bernier is a decent Allen replacement. He puts up good numbers on a terrible team so could make a good tandem with Price. I beleive he is from the area aswell.

I brought in Ennis, and resigned Perry and Frolik for the taxi squad in case of injury.

All together I think this is a improved team.

"Fun but unrealistic". Certainly wouldn't be fun for Leafs, trading an NHL Dman for nothing.

    You're better off signing Danault to 6-6.5 x 7 than signing RNH to 7.5 x 7

Yeah I seen something about last trade deadline a while ago that Montreal was interested in Dermott, not sure on how valuable he is to the leafs. What do you think is a reasonable ask?

I don’t know Danault has been horrendous for Montreal this year, I think there best off moving on from him

That's fair but giving someone like RNH that big of a contract is a big risk.

True he’s been producing at near a point a game the past few years but Montreal don’t have McDavid or Draisital. Not sure how he would produce without them. But I think he would still be a consistent 60-70 point guy which you got to overpay for as a ufa.

But he only hits 60-70+ a season because of them

50ish points a year like clockwork before McDraisaitl

For 7 seasons... which segues perfectly to the point of him nearing 30 (here) and 90% of players declining around then and few stay in prime for 10+ years
