Just wondering but how much are the Ducks willing to retain on Henrique?

What’s his contract. I wouldn’t mind letting him play with the Gulls

He said he wouldn’t waive unless the team asked and the team said they wouldn’t ask him to waive unless he wanted to. Basically a mutual agreement for him to stay.

TB would love to have Shatt back. We can not afford him or would have signed him over the summer.

Do you really think Silfverberg can get a 1st? I mean, he's 30, signed for 3.5 more seasons at $5.25M and averages about 40 points per season. I mean, NONE of the UFA forwards got that kind of deal last offseason. Taylor Hall was the only UFA forward to crest the $5.25M mark and he got a no-risk 1-year deal from Buffalo. They'll probably get a 1st for him at the deadline, I don't see Anaheim getting a 1st for Silfverberg though.

The TBL trade is unrealistic as well.

This is a straight up no from Minnesota. Adam henrique contract, & victor rask , Zuccarello, & kaprizov success mean no from Minnesota

Gibson had a career worst season last year, this year is hardly any better. He's getting lit up. His value keeps going down as he gets older. His NTC kicks in next season. He wants out. Trade him now. While the ducks can get pieces to help with their rebuild. Konovalov + 1st plus any prospect not named Holloway, Broberg, Bouchard and even then Broberg may not be untouchable

Yeah, great goalies on teams with porous defense corps end up looking average. Here's his 5v5 stats next to Edmonton's goalies for the past 1.5 seasons:

Shots against/60
Koskinen: 32.96
Gibson: 30.83
Smith: 29.11

Save %
Koskinen: .919
Gibson: .915
Smith: .905

HD shots against/60
Koskinen: 8.86
Gibson: 8.59
Smith: 7.40

HDSV%
Koskinen: .836
Gibson: .820
Smith: .784

Contracts
Gibson: $6.4M, UFA 2027
Koskinen: $4.5M, UFA 2022
Smith: $1.5M, UFA 2021

I don't see Edmonton giving up a lot for Gibson, TBH. Maybe he'll rebound, or maybe, like Matt Murray, the shooters have figured him out. But that's a lot of risk for a guy who isn't an upgrade on Mikko Koskinen.

This really put everything into perspective but I do think Gibson is one of the best in the league and still has value. And his contract besides his NTC is still amount the best especially at his age, expiring at 33 has such little risk even if he continues to only okay as good has he has this past season and a half. But you can tell he doesn't like playing for ANA anymore. His lack of ambition to steal games is showing, he knows they won't win a cup. On a better team,m or a team in the verge of breaking out of the bubble and into playoff contention year after year like the Oilers may actually help him get his energy back and want to play better. And even if he gets half way back to how he was before these last few season the price it may cost to acquire him and his contract may be worth it. Buuuut it could be a huge risk as well.

Gibby has it bad this season, with Lindholm and Manson out recently our best defensive defenseman has been Hakanpaa, our defense has been evicerated

Yup, but my stats include last season too. He's been average, but he's had a hard time of it, no doubt.
