I'd recommend against it, Zadorov is pretty bad. Negative value in xGF and at breaks even defensively at best

If he's paired with the right guy though, he could bring what that D partner lacks? I've always thought Zadorov was a fascinating player.

When he was on Colorado and was playing against WPG he was a guy that threw WPG's players off. That is a guy WPG could use on defense.

no bc Zads is not a top pairing Dman, he is just too inconsistent. He will get caught flat footed a lot puck watching in his own end. When he is engaged and moving his feet he looks great.

It is his contract year so will he step up his game.? He is better than DeMelo so if this is the only trade that is there and at a reasonable price then WPG should go for it.

Hes not better than DeMelo, I would have swapped him straight up for DeMelo 10 times out of 10 if he was on the avs still.
Zadorov is just a high end 3rd pairing Dman who you can get by on the 2nd pair with injuries. You cant build a top pairing with him

Zads has been in a contract year almost his whole career, only getting 1 year deals after his ELC. He is who he is..
Hes better than some of the Jets Dman you have like Forbertt etc, but you will be frustrated with him by game 4 if hes on the Jets

Hawks pass, as this would essentially end up being Saad for Niku and a 3rd which they would never do. Niku also has little value to the Hawks who are loaded with Defensive young players/prospects.
