Yea the Leafs would be better with Foligno, but is he really worth giving up a first when the Leafs have lots of wingers?

Why on earth would anyone pay a 1st for a 3rd line grinder?

Wild aren't trading Marcus foligno. No chance. He was just signed to 3 years extension in January

Ryan Hartman from the Wild, he’s similar to Foligno in a lot of ways and playin* great hockey right now. Your ask is pretty big though. Gritty, can play top 6, also affordable. Might as well ask to chop down the biggest tree in the forest with a herring.

@MatthewsDynasty I agree with Jnowariak here. Michael Russo brought up a great point that the Wild might be forced to move Ryan Hartman or risk losing him because he arbitration number might be too high for the Wild. Leafs could use him as a rental for this year if they're looking to get grittier. Due to his size, he's not as gritty as Foligno. However, he also is very skilled for a grinder. So if you're going to trade for a Wild winger...he's the most likely trade candidate.

Because he is an elite defensive player

I don't think he is good enough to be a top 6 forward, probably more of a 3rd line player which we don't need. Anyone else you can think of? Doesn't have to be on the wild.
