why you in a rush to trade him?

Plenty of teams are in need of offensive help and a PPQB at the deadline. The only offensive RHD's that will actually be available are like Demers and Montour. And both of them are absolute trash.

You're likely to get positive value returned at the deadline. Just gotta wait it out. And even if you don't you just eat the buyout which is like 800k lol.

Who would he be replacing? Parayko is day-to-day resting his back and Gunnarsson is out but he's a defensive LHD. With Faulk, Krug, and Dunn all looking for PP time and Dunn catching heat because he isn't a strong 1v1 defender, I think TDA is the furthest thing from what the Blues are looking for. And then there's the cap.
