I Just threw up a little in my mouth.

Zero percent chance Boston makes this trade. Could have had him for ZERO assets in offseason.

Barrie is not good.

he is actually playing very well for edmonton right now imo which is why it makes no sense for them to trade him also

Nurse is playing really well and he is his partner. I kind of feel like Barrie is vey much the beneficiary of Nurse, McDavid and Draisaitl.

He’s playing solid offensively, but he’s kind of the opposite of what the Bruins look for on their back end.

Yamamoto hasn't earned that deal. It's too much and too long for a guy with 73 NHL games and 40 points. He's struggling with a sophomore slump (injuries?) right now but it was partly predictable: he shot 25% last year which clearly wasn't sustainable.

That sounds like a comment from someone who hasn’t watched Barrie play this year. I assure you those guys are benefiting from Barrie just as much as he’s benefiting from them.

Sounds like a guy who has seen Barrie play for the last 500+ games.

He isn't very good. A) colorado has/had been looking for defense for a long time and realized he wasn't the answer B) Toronto who has been looking for defense for a long time realized he isn't the answer C) the Bruins who had torey krug who is a younger and better version let him walk because he can't play defense. D) the Bruins could have signed him without giving anything up. They made a decision to go young and have given up the least amount of goals. They don't need to add a bottom pairing offensive dman. No. I will take Kevan MIller 100 times out of 100 Over Tyson Barrie.

Yes, the other team is very much benefitting when Barrie is on the ice. 5th most goals allowed. Your d partner is a +13 and you are -1, while putting up .75ppg. That is a recipe for the lottery.
