Although the injuries to Koekkoek and Lagesson suck, it's nice to see Jones back in the lineup.

Happy for Jones to get this look finally, and that Lagesson should be an option to come back in really soon should Jones or Russell have a bad spell. I loved Koekkoek early in the season, but the honest truth is that I wouldn't have hated seeing him waived at some point once the D is healthy to have the flexibility to keep a good 3rd goalie on the roster down the stretch. His injury, unfortunate as it is, essentially opens up that roster spot. Lennstrom is likely a serviceable 9th Dman now, and doesn't require waivers, which is fantastic. Hope to see Forsberg or a similar goalie claimed soon and kept on the active roster in case of an injury to Smith/Koskinen, or simply to give them nights off from even being the backup.
