Description

Step 1: Fire Benning, Weisbrod, Brown, Baumgartner
Step 2: Hire Linden as President. MacFarland as the GM. Futa, Brackett, and Luongo (If he wants the job) as Assistant GMs. Keep Green as the Head Coach (Unless Gallant or Brind'amour want the job). Make Burrows and Crawford Assistant Coaches and re-sign Clark
Step 3: Sell at the Deadline (I get Edler and Hamonic have NMCs just ignore that for now. Don't pay attention to the teams making the trades either.)

Like I said the teams making the trades don't really matter but if want Pearson you just gotta offer something similar to what I offered

No chance you're signing Nuge as a free agent.

A) We can sign him at that price and be able to offer an eighth year already. Today's 31 Thoughts is just the latest confirmation that RNH wants to re-sign in EDM.

B) If he were to hit free agency, he'd choose a legitimate Cup contender before going back home.

Edler is not waiving his no trade as he has no desire to leave Vancouver during the season and the same with Myers as his wife’s family is from Vancouver and won’t waive his no trade so both of those trades aren’t happening

Myers can only submit a 10 team no trade list and I doubt Anaheim would be on it and Edler was willing to waive for Calgary a few years ago so I'd say it's at least possible

But re-read my post.

I said if Nuge makes it to UFA (and to be clear, he won't), he's not signing with the Canucks. He'd go to a contender.
