This is blaming the wrong guy panic move by MB. Montreal has been one of the top teams 5v5 in scoring all season, bad special teams (not HC duties) and bad goaltending in Price is what their issue is. Montreal has an org just can't admit that Price is mediocre to bad now.

A roster built on heavy hockey with little to no creative offensive skill outside a handful of the younger guys. It shouldn't be shocking that the PP and PK have been a mess for them. To me thats roster creation issues not coaching

A hot start put up too high of expectations. If they are wanting to move on bc he had 1 year left on his 5 year contract and they wanted to make a change regardless, fine, but the roster is still flawed and the personal that is still behind it running those special teams still exist.

There is all this praise for Dominique Ducharme ....this is the same coach at WJC who refused to play Cale Makar and despite him and his 5 mins of ice time a game still was voted to Tourney Allstar team,
Lets see if he actually emrbaces skill and youth or he is just like every other coach who will lean on the guys he knows and feels comfortable with the most
