          Poile is getting fleeced territory now vs fleecing. His offseason moves in trades and UFA signings have been backfiring

          Prior to the Karlsson trade (it seemed like a fleece at the time let’s be honest but things went poorly/ unlucky); Wilson was definitely up there but imo Sakic has taken that top spot for the last good while now. Poile was doing damn well but some moves have gone bad and Lou shouldn’t even be there some of his decisions are brutal. Stevie Y and Waddell are good candidates. Dallas GM deserves some reps too. And Doug Armstrong ain’t to bad either.

          Just a short quick list;

          Trocheck for essentially two prospects and two UFAs who walked

          James Reimer for Scott Darling (bought out) and a 6th

          2020 1st (Seth Jarvis) for cap space (Patrick Marleau)

          Nino Niederreiter for Victor Rask

          Draft picks for Jeff Skinner (avoided huge contract)

          Martinook for Marcus Kruger

          Wins draft lottery for Svech

          Gets Aho on a team friendly deal due to offer sheet.

          Etc

          The trade looks so bad right now with 3 years in a row of injuries. Before that, he played 5 seasons, 70+ games. 3/5 were the full 82 games.

          I can't recall a trade where the player who came over was just consistently injured and couldn't really play at 100%. It's really a weird/unique situation.
