yes it makes the team better. itll be tough to trade tatar, but he's not resigning either way due to cap constraints. i dont see wpg making that thompson trade.

Buffalos not really getting a decent prospect, Ikonen is a recovery project, Fairbrother is meh, Tatar and Armia walk, so they end up with a mid to late first, for both players. I think they pass

Buffalo would take that deal and run.
Montour = Armia, Joel and 2021 2nd round pick (MTL)
Hall = Tatar, Tomas and 2022 1st round pick (MTL)
The prospects are gravy or icing on the cake Ikonen, and Fairbrother.
BUT I would want Bergevin to get extensions for Armia and Tatar before I would make the trade.
