My first thought was forsberg. They really need a 1C though. If they could swing Eichel I would shoot for that first. If they could find the assets for both they are a playoff team.

Seth Jones from CBJ? Chabot and Jones pairing would be deadly. Do the deal after the extension starts so as to get an accompanying extension so you dont lose him after 1 year. But tough if he'd consider signing long term in OTT

I think you put the 22 1st and a b prospect for forsberg. The 21 first and everything you can spare for Eichel. That is what this team needs. Defence and goaltending (1b) can be fixed in ufa.

I'm with a few others in saying that it could headline an Eichel trade, but I'd imagine they wouldn't do it without Stutzle (I wouldn't either, unless I thought I was an Eichel away from being realllll good).

I'm assuming there'll be a number of guys become available due to the flat cap/Covid though, where teams just really need to cut their spending.

I think this season we may finally see 1st overall traded. The top of the draft is so wide open, Power, Hughes, Eklund, Clarke could all conceivably go #1.

Wouldn't surprise me if the team holding #1 slides back to #3 or #4, if they believe their #1 guy will be there.

This team needs 2 things. 1 elite scoring forward / 1W or 1C (depending where Stutzle plays). And a partner for Chabot but could also end up being JBD

I think that'd be hard for Columbus to decline...I'd be worried about JBD signing though...that'd be a huge loss to CLB if it didn't happen.
