domi's contract is up in 1 year, if they don't want him back then they just let him walk rather than taking on a cap dump with term

It would be more about finding a good responsible center for Tortorella.

Joey would fit that Tortorella mold a little better then Domi but Joey sortof floats from time to time which i think would tick Tortorella off. From Nashville's perspective, i'd give Domi a shot. The shorter contract is a good selling point if he doesn't work out. From CBJ's standpoint, not sure if they're willing to take the longer contract or revisit the Johansen experiment.
