How high are they on Mac? Would it be easier to trade for Gaudette?

It not really so much that they're high on Zack it's just that he's the only guy willing to drop the gloves on a regular basis and is decent offensively, which I think is important with such a young core like the Canucks. I can't really see them moving Gauds either while his value is so low, he's getting a ton of chances and is playing well he's just having an unlucky year.

I feel like at best all of these are lateral moves.

Adds the spine element missing, so little more than lateral moves.

I’d be cool with the Nashville and Vancouver trades. The NJ trade would be the devils declining. They should get the higher pick and maybe a b- prospect.

Doesn't McCann have more potential though?

Woods been a beast though the past 2 years. And I think he’d fit well in Pittsburgh. He has the speed and grit to bang bodies. Add that with scoring touch. McCann has potential, but trading him now would be trading low on him. The first half of last year looked like it would be a break out year. Then he got moved to center and had 1 goal in the final 20-25 games. He hasn’t been bad this year but on pace for 3rd line production whereas Wood has top 6 production. At least last I saw.
