Patrick Kane has to be the highest paid daycare worker in the world. Surely the runaway Hart winner.

Corey Perry is one of the weirdest players in the NHL. He’s essentially your average slow depth forward, but with a top 5 set of hands in the entire NHL. There probably is no better net-front PP player in the NHL.

Matthew Tkachuk. Pavelski was already mentioned though so I won’t go over that again as we all agree he is the undisputed tipping GOAT

Green is living out the season here. Highly doubt he gets fired.... being released at the end of the year seems more logical.

My personal vote would be Nashville. Hynes hasn't worked there at all.

Calgary Flames
Not sure I love the Sutter hire but he’s better than Ward so I’m happy. Guys might need a hard ass coach. Sutter is a hard ass and a half with multiple chips and the last deep Flames run. I like it, but would’ve preferred Gallant

DJ smith isn’t being fired, atleast id say that’s the assumption.

I mean Ottawa said in the media that being in the Canadian division was worse than the Atlantic - assuming they realized they’d never make it in the Canadian division but at least had a hope in the other.

As some of you know, Walter Gretzky passed away last night at the age of 82.

I had the privilege of meeting him at an Alumni Game in 2015. Such a nice, kind, tender hearted man. There are few like him and he will be greatly missed.

RIP Wally

So Calgary fired their coach immediately after winning a game, and less than 7 months after firing him full time. Not a good look, especially when you replace him with Darryl Sutter. And since he was working for Anaheim, does that mean that they’re without a head coach for the next 2 weeks while he quarantines?

Report: Taylor Hall is open to re-signing in BUF. Where have I heard this before (in NJ & ARI)? Why would BUF even want him at this point? Would he be willing to take a 75% pay cut?

Pretty sure this move, after a 4G Win, should dispel any talk that CJ was fired b/c of the OTT loss. Both decisions were likely building for weeks.

With Markstrom set to return this team really has no excuse not to at least push MTL and EDM for one of the last two playoff spots. I picked the Flames to make the playoffs and they have way too much talent to finish 5th, in my opinion.

retired due to injury - not on his own "will"

its basically he "didn't choose to retire"

although its likely it was a mutual decision
