Komorav is the new Blake Comeau. Absolute ass, but still finds a way in the lineup and for some reason he’s liked by the coach. Also what do you think about my lines? https://www.capfriendly.com/forums/thread/437560

I like them a lot better than the ones now, only thing is is that I’d probably keep Eberle w Barzal, they’ve been really good tg this season. In my mind, the ideal lines are:

Palmieri-Barzal-Eberle
Beauvillier-Nelson-Wahlstrom
Zajac-Pageau-Bailey

The best fourth line in hockey (a term popular a couple years ago.) it’s just easier to type out then Martin-Cizikas-Clutterbuck but I just typed it out rendering the line’s nickname completely useless

Random stat that I just came across when I was looking at Alex Burrows’ results on the powerplay since getting hired, is Toronto’s PP percentage.

Before February 24th (20 games in for Toronto) the Leafs PP% was 4th in the league at 31.3%. In the most recent 20 games since then, it’s been 11.5% which is 29th in the league and ahead of only Buffalo and Columbus.

This is a pretty crazy, and I’m extremely surprised more Leafs’ media or fans aren’t freaking out about how terrible their power play has been as of late.

No. These are actual stats and I’m surprised I haven’t heard any complaining about this from Leaf-land. Unless I’ve been able to disconnect myself enough that there’s been complaining I haven’t noticed?

It's been a topic, to say the least. They were on an 0 for 28 (or 29 maybe) stretch that they just broke before playing the Habs. It's been bad. Maybe the fact that they were winning regardless has quieted the outward noise, but within the fandom, it's been a hot subject.

Because they are still winning, so that shows that they can win games at even strength, which is a good thing. That's why you don't see leafs nation freaking out.

Well this is cause for celebration. 🎉 🥳 Despite living in Southern Ontario and all of the major Canadian hockey media outlets being based in Toronto, I’m unaware of the Leafs’ issues!

I cannot believe there are islanders fans that exist that think Leo Komorav on line 1 over Palmieri, Wahlstrom, Beauvillier, Bellows, Ladd, etc is a good idea

Komarov is an Hall of Famer and a Leafs legend, so I don't think so.Except Ladd. Ladd's a beauty. He carried the Canes in '06.
