Bruins will make an offer to Buffalo for Jack Eichel if he becomes available. I'm willing to bet 2 things :

1) Boston will come short of giving a great deal that other teams will give him
2) Buffalo isn't trading an elite 1C within the division

Those two things lead me to believe that I am 98% sure Jack Eichel won't be a Bruin via the Sabres. If anything, Jack Eichel signs in Boston as a UFA in the future.

As cool as it would be and how incredible going from an aging Bergeron to a prime Eichel, it's just not looking likely.

Screw Eichel, Barkov is a UFA after next season and is a better player.

If Suter does ask for a trade, that offer isn't getting it done. You need more than a 2nd round pick and a cap dump.
